When Summer’s Eve needed to build awareness and trial of its new tropical-scent line, Pivot Point took a more personal approach. Emphasizing the new Island Splash scented products, we created a Tropical Island experience at Summertime geo-targeted events. This allowed not only for new product sampling, but also a place where we could connect consumers directly to the brand.

The Island Splash brand experience started with our friendly Brand Ambassadors dressed in Island attire. They invited event-goers to cool off out of the sun in the fully designed thatched-roofed cabana, complete with relaxing island music and refreshing water-misting machines. Our ambassadors distributed free samples of the new Island Splash-scented wash and cloths with a postcard that included coupons and encouraged event-goers to sign up to win an Island Getaway trip to Hawaii. In turn, women shared their names and information, augmenting Summer’s Eve’s database. Promotional packaging, microsite and exclusive premium program accessories and clothing were also developed to support the new scent at shelf.

Pivot Point caught the wave with Island Splash, distributing samples at 12% over goal, collecting 1500 new names for the database, introducing 9,500 unique visitors to the microsite and receiving 1732 new registrations.
